Raw Silk Grenadines
I posted about this fabric before and now the ties are finished and for sale on our site. Its hard to do it justice in pictures, you really have to feel it.
Raw silk is typically a bit of a dense weave and you only really see it in solid colors. When you hold up this fabric to the light, you see this:
And look at the texture up close:
Just remember where you saw this first as they will be all the rage in menswear shortly.

Ha, just kidding. But, have patience, and do your research. Dont give up on learning - thats the most important part of it, a neverending process, especially if you are thrifting menswear. Be diligent in your searches, and I reiterate - have patience. Good luck in your hunt.
